Vision impaired sailor from Port Macquarie, NSW has overcome every obstacle to compete in regattas Australia wide and looking towards the Hansa World Championships 2025.

Kathryn Stephens is being recognised for her skill and courage on the water, together with her crew Jason Elwes. Kathryn only started sailing a year ago and has already had success. The duo have entered the Worlds in the Hansa 303 2-person class in ‘Sail Her Way’ and have their goal set of being a top 3 placegetter come March 2025.
